This Refund & Returns Policy governs all transactions made through Explosion Market, the official marketplace platform of Explosion Group, operated in Mexico by Explosion S.A. de C.V. and in the United States by Explosion LLC.
By purchasing or selling on https://explosion.market, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
1️⃣ Marketplace Nature of Service
Explosion Market acts solely as an intermediary between independent sellers and buyers.
The platform facilitates listings, payments, and order processing, but does not own, manufacture, or directly sell any of the products offered by third-party sellers.
All transactions on Explosion Market are governed by agreements between buyer and seller, while Explosion Market provides the operational infrastructure, payment gateway, and dispute mediation services.
Explosion Market is not liable for product quality, performance, or shipping errors caused by individual sellers.
2️⃣ Refund and Return Responsibility
Each seller is responsible for defining and managing their own refund and return policies, provided they comply with Explosion Market’s minimum standards below.
Explosion Market may assist in mediating disputes between buyers and sellers, but the final decision rests with the seller, unless fraud or platform violation is confirmed.
Buyers must contact the seller directly through the platform’s messaging or support system to initiate a return or refund request.
3️⃣ General Refund Principles
Explosion Market promotes fairness between both parties, while protecting the integrity of the marketplace.
Refunds may be approved only under the following conditions:
- Product Not Received:
- Verified by tracking and carrier confirmation.
- Refund or store credit may be issued after investigation.
- Wrong or Defective Product:
- Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- Clear photo and/or video evidence is required.
- If approved, refund or store credit will be processed by the seller.
- Cancellation Before Shipment:
- Only valid if the order has not yet been marked as “shipped”.
- In such cases, Explosion Market may deduct operational fees (TMDI and payment commission).
Explosion Market reserves the right to deny refund claims that lack sufficient evidence, are inconsistent, or appear fraudulent.
4️⃣ Non-Refundable Charges
The following items and fees are non-refundable under all circumstances:
- TMDI (Tariff for Management, Distribution, and Intermediation)
Covers platform operation, logistics coordination, and transaction processing.
This fee is never refundable, even in case of cancellation or dispute. - Payment Processing Fee (typically 5%)
Covers gateway commissions, fraud protection, and financial service costs.
Automatically deducted and non-refundable once the payment is processed. - Shipping and Logistics Costs
Once an order has been dispatched, all carrier or courier charges are final. - Administrative or Service Fees
Including any applicable listing or promotion costs paid by sellers.
5️⃣ Refund Methods
If a refund is approved, it will be processed as follows:
- Refunds to Buyers: Returned to the original payment method or issued as store credit (Explosion Balance).
- Refunds to Sellers (on overpayment or cancellation): Issued as credit within the seller’s dashboard for use in future listings or payouts.
Refunds are typically processed within 10–15 business days after approval.
Explosion Market may delay payouts during investigation to verify the validity of the claim.
6️⃣ Store Credit (Explosion Balance)
In some cases, Explosion Market may issue a store credit (known as Explosion Balance) instead of a monetary refund.
Store credit:
- Can be used on future purchases or platform fees.
- Has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.
- Expires 12 months after issuance, unless otherwise stated.
- Is non-transferable and non-refundable.
7️⃣ Disputes and Investigations
If a buyer and seller cannot reach an agreement, Explosion Market may intervene as a neutral mediator.
The platform will review all available evidence (messages, receipts, photos, shipping confirmations).
Explosion Market’s resolution will be final and binding for both parties.
During an active dispute:
- Funds may be temporarily withheld from both parties.
- Explosion Market may retain the TMDI and payment fee until resolution is reached.
Confirmed abuse or false claims may result in account suspension or permanent removal.
8️⃣ Fraud and Chargebacks
Explosion Market enforces a zero-tolerance policy for chargeback abuse and fraudulent refund claims.
If a chargeback is initiated without valid reason:
- The user’s account may be permanently banned.
- Explosion Market reserves the right to recover associated costs.
- All evidence will be submitted to the payment processor or bank.
Fraudulent activity will be reported to authorities in Mexico and the United States.
9️⃣ Liability Limitation
Explosion Market’s role is limited to providing the platform, payment infrastructure, and dispute resolution mechanism.
Under no circumstance will Explosion Market, Explosion S.A. de C.V., or Explosion LLC be held liable for:
- Product defects, inaccuracies, or misrepresentation.
- Losses arising from shipping delays, theft, or delivery issues.
- Indirect or consequential damages, including loss of revenue or goodwill.
The maximum liability of Explosion Market shall never exceed the total TMDI or commission amount charged for the disputed transaction.
🔟 Jurisdiction and Governing Law
All transactions are governed by the applicable laws of:
- The United Mexican States (for Explosion S.A. de C.V.), and
- The State of Wyoming, USA (for Explosion LLC).
Disputes shall be resolved under the competent courts of Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua (Mexico) or Sheridan, Wyoming (USA), depending on the entity involved.
